The Bale Padmavati Temple at Vadambailu village is a significant Digambara Jain pilgrimage site, its sanctum dedicated to Goddess Padmavati, revered in Jainism as a protective deity. The temple draws devotees from well beyond Shivamogga district, particularly during its annual religious gatherings.

Vadambailu itself is a quiet forest village in Hosanagara taluk, and most pilgrims combine a visit here with the larger Jain temple complex at Humcha (Hombuja), about 40 km away, for a fuller Jain heritage circuit.
