Mahishi Beach is a pristine stretch of riverbank on the Tunga at Mahishi village, a short detour off the main Shivamogga–Thirthahalli highway near Malur, and within easy reach of the Uttaradi Mutt building.
It doesn't draw the crowds that Sakrebailu or Mandagadde do, which is part of the appeal if you want a quiet riverside stop on the same drive.
